About the GT Car Club

The GT Car Club is a Melbourne based car club which was originally started by a group of friends back in year 2000. For the first year or so the GTCC was not open to the public and was a get together of friends with interest in motorsport.

From word and mouth, members started to grow to the point where a website was required to notify of upcoming events. www.gtcarclub.com was spawned. Over the next 3 years the website changed a fair bit until it was completed in 2005.

The GT Car Club is a free club to join and has always been this way.

In April 2010, this new website was launched. The website is not completed but has the main drive of the new website, the Forum. The forum will be used as the main tool for organising events.
